Saturday, November 10, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Despite getting home late last nite (and watching Prince Charming and Sliders until 2.30am) I had to wake up early to go kolej today, reached at 9.40am. Nothing much was d/l overnight, so I was busy searching for stuff until Terence came at 10 something after his exam, he stayed for a while until How Khang came, then he left to get some sleep. How Khang and I stayed in the RL, Kah Wai joined us around lunch time I think, then How Khang went home around 3pm, followed by Kah Wai at 4pm. I did managed to finish the formula parser today, but unfortunately since Terence and Mary wasn't around, I couldn't progress any further 'cos I didn't understand how Mary's jsp files work. I spent the rest of the afternoon playing Deadly Dozen and UT, then at 4.30pm went to Subang Parade to tapau McDonalds and Ice Moccha.

I stayed in the RL watching tv shows and stuff until Choon came at 8 something I think, he played Doom2 and I continued my loafing until midnight which was when the two of us went home. Major find on the net though: Unreal 2 alpha version! Can't wait to try it out- I also managed to d/l Sims:Livin Large and Monopoly Tycoon.

Expectations for tomorrow:Go kolej in the evening, hopefully try out Unreal 2.

Friday, November 9, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

I finally got around to watching the Sliders, Whose Line and Drew Carey eps I've been taping this week. After prayers I bought my casing lock (more money gone :() then went to kolej. How Khang and Terence were there, Terence had set up his comp already so I set mine up next to his, he started copying some of the stuff I've been d/l these past few weeks hehehe...then I installed Empire Earth, and we played for almost 4 hours! So much fun.....=) though we did neglect to do our work. Terence went back at 7pm, so it was just me finding stuff to d/l and Choon Ling playing Star Control3- he finally won at 9 something! We went for dinner at Jaafar, then Choon went off to join the others at the cybercafe while I went back to the RL to watch Spiderman :) How happy I am to watch my fave cartoons...I went back at midnight, leaving my comp behind to d/l gigs of stuff.

Expectations for tomorrow:Go kolej in the morning, stay there the whole day- finish parser!

Thursday, November 8, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Got up a bit late today- went to Offex.net to check out the security lock prices, turns out the cable I wanted costs RM220!! but I was intrigued by the casing lock which costs RM80..I drove to BP to get some petrol, sign up for an EZ Card and wash my car, then drove to the closest Maybank to withdraw money (just in case the Imbi guy charged me more than the RM40 he quoted last week). I picked up Terence from Indah at 11am, then we went to Low Yat.

I bought Empire Earth, Deadly Dozen, Win2k and Monsters Inc. I'm so happy I found a guy selling VCD's- its so difficult for me to find them what with the anti-piracy laws being reinforced. Terence bought a DVD for RM15, then we turned the corner and found the same one for RM13 hehehe...pity I don't have a DVD player. I finally got my HDD replacement- brand new 40GB, just like the one I bought a couple of weeks back! And he charged me RM60 instead of RM40, as expected- good thing I'm not buying stuff from him anymore, what a cheat! We went for lunch at KFC, then went back to Low Yat to pick up some CD-R's for How Khang, before going back to kolej.

We reached kolej around 3pm, I started setting up my comp and copying stuff from my old HDD and installing my new HDD, then queued my downloads. Mary and How Khang were around, working on the JSP- I loafed around mostly, and eventually they all went back 'cept Sue-Yi who was busy with Sims. I watched her play for a while until she left at 6pm, then I hung around, played Tactical Ops and a few other games by myself until my sister dropped by at 9pm. She watched me try out Deadly Dozen, then we went for a quick meal at Munaf, and I must say that's the last meal I'll ever have there- their attitude wasn't friendly at all! After that we went back to the RL and watched some Star Trek eps, a Tick ep and some more Babylon5 bloopers then I showed her Armada, Bangsar Adventures and Superhero League of Hoboken before we went to the financial counter close to midnight. We couldn't go back immediately 'cos it was raining so I hung around with the guys, talking about how cool GTA3 is, but mostly just listening to their conversation. After about 10 mins or so the rain died down and Wen Yung sent me to my car, then I went home with my comp.

Expectations for tomorrow: Lepak in the morning then go kolej after prayers. Must get started on the formula parser.

Wednesday, November 7, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Woke up at 6am today...I think I've had more than enough sleep yesterday. I reached kolej at 7.40am, hung out with Pei Shi at the finance counter before going to the RL at 8 something. Joe joined me a short while later and we watched an episode of B5 Crusade- what a lame episode spoofing X-Files! We watched an episode of Enterprise then went for the briefing with the others. It started a bit late, but that was okay, we got to chit-chat before it started at 10.30am. It was quite a funny briefing, but I'm concerned about what to say when the interviewers ask 'So tell me a little about yourself' What on earth do I say??? After the briefing I followed the others up to the RL for a few mins, then went downstairs to meet my sis. She wasn't there so I hung around with Bel and her classmates at the finance counter for a short while, trying to reach my sis (h/p off) and Jason but no luck. Eventually I went back upstairs and stayed there for a while, then came back down to ask Bel what to do- stayed until 12pm before my sister called and I went to Indah.

My sis had an appointment at 3pm, so no time to go Megamall/KLCC. Since I rarely get the chance, I opted for us to go to Subang Parade. On the way there my sis pointed out a Pakistani restoran called Sheesh Mahal which we went to instead. It was a quite a good buffet, and my sister belanja some more =) What a happy day! We ate and talked from 1 to 2.30pm, then went back to kolej. I joined Sue-Yi and Yu Hock at the RL while my sis went on her errands, Ian and the others came back at 3.30pm and everbody went off to play Tribes 2, but I was supposed to see my sis after she was done so had to decline their offer again. Then again I'm kinda running low on funds anyway so its just as well I didn't follow them. I stayed in the RL, watched an unfinished ep of Enterprise, loitered for quite a while until my sis called at 6 something, we made plans to watch America's Sweethearts at 7.20pm.

I picked her up from Indah at 6.40pm, we went to Pyramid, bought our tickets then had a quick drink at A&W before going in. The movie was quite good, a typical romantic comedy :) And the best part of watching movies with my sis is that I can talk during the film hahaha...we walked around Pyramid for a bit after that, bought a maple pretzel then went to kolej. I stopped by the basketball court to pass the spare RL keys to Terence, talked to the other CSE ppl for a bit then went back to the foyer to join my sis and the ENG ppl. They were all busy with their work, so I hung around for a bit waiting for my sis to settle some stuff with them before we went upstairs to the RL. We watched an episode of Enterprise, some Babylon5 bloopers then I sent her back to Indah before going home.

Expectations for tomorrow:Go kolej in the morning to work on the JSP then go Low Yat with Terence to collect my HDD.

Tuesday, November 6, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Ian joined Darren and I on the balcony just after 7am, as did Joe. Choon woke up at 7.30am, and I let Sue-Yi sleep until 7.45am before waking her up- today Darren and I learned that she's as long as my couch- perfect fit! Hehehe...we went for breakfast at Darul Ehsan at 8am, after that we sent Joe to Central Market to catch a bus home- its nice to drive thru town in the early morning with friends. Then I sent Choon back to his car and he went home with the others. I must say yesterday was a pretty good day- best after-exam celebration I ever had =)

I came home at 10am and pretty much slept the rest of the day. After a short meal at 8pm, I continued sleeping until morning. Tomorrow's gonna be a fun day- I'm spending it with my sister! =) =)

Expectations for tomorrow: LAN briefing in the morning, then spend the day with my sis.

Monday, November 5, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Woke up at 9am today, reached kolej at almost 11am, hung out with the others in the RL until it was time for the DataComm exam at 1.30pm. I left at about 3pm, as expected ISDN came out, and I hadn't studied for it! But that's okay since at least I didn't fail...I joined Yu Hock and Sue-Yi in the RL, then loitered then until the others came. They all went to play TFC around 4pm, I didn't feel like going 'cos I was tired, but since I wanted to join them for dinner I hung around the RL by myself- slept from 5-7 something, waited until 8pm before I got tired of waiting so I called Kah Wai to tell him I was going home, talked to William on the way out then Yu Hock called me on the way to the car to let me know they had finished, but at that point I was too tired to navigate my way thru USJ so I went home straight.

After tapauing some dinner from the vegetarian restoran, I watched Sliders then played Myth3. Yu Hock called me unexpectedly at 10pm and told me they were coming to visit me- so nice! I continued playing until 11 something which was when they eventually found my place haha- they got lost a few times as expected. We watched Dogma, though at one point I went to my room with Darren, Tracy and Sue-Yi to look at some old CSE pics and movies. After the movie was over at 2am, everyone went to the stalls to eat supper, though Darren, Choon and myself walked instead of driving :) After supper the others went home but Ian, Darren, Choon, Sue-Yi, Joe and I walked back up that steep hill to my place, Choon slept while the others watched tv. I think we watched tv until 5.30am, though we lost Sue-Yi, Ian and eventually Joe to Dreamland, so it was just me and Darren talking until 7 something in the morning.

Expectations for tomorrow:Sleep!
