Didn't do much today, went to Atria to buy some pocket files but couldn't find any- did manage to buy some shampoo etc. then went to MPH to buy some files. Finally managed to sort and store all those notes that have been cluttering up my room. I spent the rest of my free time watching Batman eps.
Expectations for tomorrow: Lord of The Rings + lunch with Halina in the morning, maybe go kolej after that.
Saturday, December 22, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)
Couldn't leave the house until 10.30am today due to the heavy rain. I decided to go Subang Parade first to settle my visa stuff- then ran into some problems at Reliance. They didn't have my name or Ian's on file, and I wasn't sure whether to apply for a visa again since the one I have from July is apparently valid for one year. Huh...not sure what to do about that yet. I tapaued some food from McDs for Yu Hock and myself, then went over to Indah. My sister was just on her way out so I managed to pass her the card then I went to the RL. Yu Hock and I had lunch there while surfing, Sue-Yi and her friend dropped by for a few mins...then it was just Yu Hock and me until 2.30pm, which was when I decided to ring up Halina to see if I could drop by her place. She said yes so after watching some Family Guy I left the RL and went over to her house, reached there close to 4pm I think.
We had lots of fun sitting around chatting and munching on biscuits & goreng pisang, plus she bought some Terry's orange chocolates for me, my favorite! :) Pity I didn't get to see her mum though, since she was sleeping...in the end I left close to 6pm. I lazed about @ home, had dinner then started going thru Halina's essays...called her at 11pm to discuss them, since the floppy she gave me was rosak I didn't get a complete copy of her work so hopefully I can come over during one of the next few days to go thru it again. I watched some awesome eps of Batman/Superman adventures then went to sleep.
Expectations for tomorrow: Probably clean up my room and settle some stuff.
Friday, December 21, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)
Got back from Penang around 3.30pm, I'm glad to be home again. I've started to recover from my infection, ate solid food for the first time in 1 1/2 weeks today- hurrah! I went to Low Yat at 4pm to show the guy my notebook problems with the USB ports, he was quite busy and so was the supplier, so the by the time I got an answer about what they were going to do about it, it was 6pm already. The supplier is closed until Jan 2nd, but they promised to replace the notebook on the same day itself if they can't fix it, since I'm flying on the 3rd. Just my bad luck I guess...
I came home and formatted my notebook, reinstalled win2k and some basic stuff, hope to run some tests tomorrow to see if there are other problems. I watched Friends and Sliders, called Halina and talked to her for quite a bit before coming online and uploading my pitas. I called my sis and arranged to see her in the morning, have to pass her a Christmas card for Bel. Gee, I got quite a busy week next week...so many ppl to see and things to do!
Expectations for tomorrow: Go to Indah in the late morning, then go Subang Parade to settle my visa. Probably stay @ kolej for a while b4 going home.
