Sunday, December 30, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Ren Yi was sick so couldn't make it, neither could Yung Sing or Swee Meng but on the plus side I got Yu Tang so after Boon Peng fetched me at 6.20pm, we reached Shen Han's house and met up with Yu Tang, the 4 of us watched Oddworld 2 on the PS before going to Pizza Hut for dinner. After dinner we walked around the pasar malam, I finally bought my nailclipper and comb, plus this cool movie called The Message, about Nabi Muhammad and how Islam began etc. plus I managed to find Conan the Barbarian! :) We went back to Shen Han's house at 10pm and started testing out VCDs- watched 30mins of The Message, the others wanted to continue watching it but since its 3CDs we decided to test out the other CDs- mostly watched Yu Tang's Robotech VCD though, before switching to some Cantonese movie showing on tv. I think we left at midnight, Boon Peng sent me to my car then I went home.

Plans for tomorrow: Do some minor errands, go out with SKBB gang at night.

Saturday, December 29, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Woke up at 10am today..so instead of getting my haircut I went straight to kolej, got stuck in a jam for almost an hour! Since it was past 12pm, I fetched Ian then Yu Hock then the 3 of us went to Carrefour. We had lunch at Burger King, I had an Ice Moccha, sent Ian home then Yu Hock and I went to the RL, reached at 1.30pm. I copied all the eps of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier, plus a Seinfeld ep and a few other clips. I left at 2pm, hit another jam so by the time I reached Ram's house it was almost 3pm! After a quick drink of water, his dad drove us to pick up Simon then the 4 of us went to Low Yat. I bought my network cable for RM9, wandered around with them before we left at 5pm I think. After reaching Ram's place I went to Simon's house and hung around with him watching Friends episodes until 8pm- I finally got the missing 8th season eps :) I bought Mamitas for dinner and lazed about for the rest of the night.

Plans for tomorrow: Going out for dinner with Ren Yi, Boon Peng, etc.

Friday, December 28, 2001 (11:08 p.m.)

Woke up at 9am today, went to the travel agent in Desa Pandan to get my visa done, had breakfast at the nearby restoran then tried to muddle my way back- hehe I tried a different (unexplored) route for once, with interesting results...there was a minor jam, and it took slightly longer than my usual route, plus I was VERY low on petrol- reached the Eastin BP with barely enough to spare. Whew! I went back after that, then Amin called me at 1pm so I went to pray with him at D'sara instead of Bangsar. Prayers ended at 2pm, we bumped into Musa there and had a chat with him- turns out he's going to study in Cheras for 2 years, so I can still meet up with him for Friday prayers for a long time more :) I rushed to D'Sagar and reached at 2.30pm, Ram, Ong and Kevin were already there midway thru lunch. Simon joined us, then Tirath and we all sat around chatting about stuff until 3.30pm, which was when everybody went back. I tried calling Halina, but she had gone out so I talked to her mum instead, I felt tired so I went to sleep. I woke up at 6pm, called Halina, didn't talk long really I guess I wasn't sure what to say- she's going back to UK tonight and I won't see her until July! Well, at least we have email :) And I've got Fahmi coming back in May too :) I watched tv for a bit, even watched Sliders too- then I called Wing Tatt and made plans for Tuesday night, then called Shen Han and made plans for Sunday evening with Ren Yi.

Plans for tomorrow: Haircut in the morning, followed by kolej to see Ian, then 2pm its off to Low Yat with Simon, Ram and Ong.

Thursday, December 27, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Went to Maxis in the morning, but as it turns out only my Dad can activate the roaming service so I guess that chore will have to wait. Then I went with Mum to Ampang to buy a suitcase, had lunch there then went home. I quickly got my notebook and rushed to kolej, reached at 2.30pm- Yu Hock, Choon and Sue-Yi were in the RL so I left my notebook there and went downstairs to meet Dad. We went to see Andrija, then Mr.Lim- as usual they sang high praises etc. Urgh...lucky for me Mylini is in Singapore and Weng Ke isn't around either. Dad went back to work, then I went to the RL- Tracy and Kah Wai had joined them, I hung around with them for a while before Bel came at 4pm. I went with her to the Library to check her mail and stuff, passed her Chelim's notes and the dreamcatcher I bought her...we left at 5pm, she had to go back so I walked her to the sidegate before rejoining the others in the RL. Gee I guess that's the second last time I see her before she goes Australia :(

We hung around there for quite a while- the others went to the foyer to study for exam, then Choon went to Stephanie's house for dinner around 6pm. I stuck around a while d/l some Trek parodies and queuing other stuff before going to the foyer at 7pm. 10 mins or so later Sue-Yi joined Yu Hock, Kah Wai, Tracy and me and we all went to KFC in Kah Wai's car. This lady came around the restoran looking for donations, Kah Wai and Yu Hock donated some cash and got some funny pens- hehehe I'm saving one for Georgi ;), hope the others give Mylini one too hahaha. After dinner Kah Wai dropped me off @ my car then I went to Stephanie's house, reached there close to 9pm I think. Ah it was nice to see Maybelle again, she looks a whole lot more normal than she did last time I saw her (hahahaha). It was nice to see Chong Boon too, seems like he's grown shorter since the last time I saw him hehe :) I left at 11pm to join Ong, Suet May, Rosemary and Ram at Coffee Bean Bangsar. We had so much fun chatting about secondary school and other stuff until way past midnight, I think by the time I got home and slept it was 1.30am. Well, even though I didn't get a haircut, comb or nail-clipper, it was quite a fun day today :)

What Kah Wai thinks of a particular celebrity: She's so skinny lar! She's got nothing to offer!

Plans for tomorrow: Do my visa in the morning, then buffet lunch at D'Sagar with Ram, Kevin, Ong, Simon and Tirath.

Wednesday, December 26, 2001 (11:28 p.m.)

Woke up at 7am, then drifted back to sleep until 8.45am! Darn it! I reached Yaohan just after 9am, went to good 'ol Tingkat 10, but apparently most of the typical R.O.B. (Registrar of Businesses) stuff has moved to Tingkat 2, so I walked across there. Don't really like the new design though, the ceiling is high, the number of seats are the same but there's a much bigger gap around them, and the decor isn't so nice. Nowhere near as cosy as the atmosphere I saw when I registered my business last November. The queue was only 5 ppl, so I paid my RM25, got a new license and left, reached Bangsar by 9.30am! Can't believe how fast it took to renew my license and all...I seriously expected it to take a few hours at least.

Seeing as how I had a big gap now, I called Halina but she was busy, so I dropped by Tirath's house and talked for a few mins, then walked across to Simon's house and hung around for a few mins while he was bathing, but it turns out he was going out with his cousin so tough luck. I called Li Li but she was sleeping so I decided to give up and buy some food at Meidi-Ya before going to kolej (found out the name of the lady there is Zaharah), reached at 11am I think, managed to bump into Yu Hock, Kah Wai, Tracy and How Khang while I was parking my car haha. I passed HK his Clockwork Orange then after a brief stop at the bookstore we went to the RL. I didn't have any d/l to collect, but decided to d/l the Secret Service demo. After setting things up I went over to chat with Mylini for about 20 mins then Chelim came to pass me his notes to pass to Bel, we talked for a bit in the RL- Choon Ling was around too, he brought his comp over. I tried the Secret Service demo, doesn't look so great, its one of those 'one shot can kill' games- too tough for me heh :) I lazed about the RL reading Halina's essay mostly, the others came and went on occassion, I managed to pass Ian the cheque for the plane ticket, looks like I'll be gone Jan 3rd-Feb 14th :( Close to 3pm I packed up my stuff, said goodbye to Choon and Darren, then went to say goodbye to Mylini and Mr.Lim before going to Megamall.

I bought some nasi dagang, ice-blended moccha and a couple of roses for Halina and her mum- carrying all that plus my notebook proved to be REAL tricky, I'm glad I didn't drop anything! I reached home around 4.20pm, ate my late lunch then started burning a CD for Fahmi- called Halina at 5.30pm and as luck would have it she was kinda free @ the moment, so after the CD was done I went over ASAP, reached close to 6pm. I started copying over files to her notebook while chatting, gave her and her mum the flowers, had tea and cookies, ah what fun! But it was getting late so I left at 7.30pm. I went home, watched Whose Line and a bit of Sliders then got kinda fed up with the lame story so I watched some Spiderman eps before coming online- Fahmi was online too so I talked to him a bit, plus Joe and Soo Ming were on icq too so it took FOREVER to write this entry. I called my sister, and it turns out Bel is around until the weekend, so I arranged to meet her in kolej tomorrow for a few mins at 4pm. I called Halina around 10.45pm for a few mins, then continued with my online chatting hahaha- well length icq chats rarely happen anyway.

Plans for tomorrow: Get a haircut, go Maxis and activate global roaming, buy some stuff, get suitcase, go kolej and see Bel..err..see Ram/Simon at night hopefully- sigh I'm so busy nowadays.

Tuesday, December 25, 2001 (11:59 p.m.)

Didn't want to laze about at home today so I went to Central Market at 11am to buy a gift for a friend, plus bought an October issue of PC Gamer for RM10 (nice to read a pc mag once in a while, even if its outdated). I rang up Ram and Tirath while I was there and found out that Simon came back without even telling me! How lame is that? I wish ppl kept informed about these things... :( I called Kah Wai and he said he's having an outing to KLCC with Yu Hock, Darren and a friend of his so I opted to join them hehe. I went home first, then Kah Wai fetched me at 1pm- his friend couldn't make it so it was just 4 guys going to KLCC.

We got there without a hassle since its Christmas today, went straight to the food court but it was too crowded so we ended up in California Pizza Kitchen. Kah Wai and Yu Hock had Kung Pao Spaghetti- supposedly very pedas spaghetti, but it looked kinda mild since it was just dried chillies and peppers. Darren and I shared a CheeseSteak pizza- it was quite good! Though a bit light- after eating my half (3 slices) I was still hungry :( After that we went to Kinokuniya so Yu Hock could pick up his Dune series, he bought everything but the first book (no stock)! I was tempted to buy a Star Trek series of books, but it would cost about RM170, so I thought it would be better to find some book reviews first. Did buy one novel though- RM26 gone! I also bumped into Tirath's parents there, haha so funny I didn't recognise his dad at first since I've grown taller since the last time I've seen him :) We went back after that, around 4pm. Kah Wai dropped me off at home, I watched all 5 of my new Friends eps (can't believe its 8th season already!), then watched Friends on Astro at 7.30pm then continued to watch Spiderman eps until 8.30pm, which was when Shen Han called me to say our plans were gonna be delayed until 9.30pm.

I went to Shen Han's place at 9.30pm, hung around there watching him play Monkey Island, called Halina to see if she's free tomorrow evening but she might be busy, so heres hoping. We waited for Boon Peng to come, he came at 10.15pm, so Shen Han drove us to the satay place nearby, but it was closed! :( We went to this Penang Indian Mee place in SS3, but it was closed too! Then we tried BK at SS2, but it was closing, so in the end we wound up at Uptown eating cheese naan- it was quite good too, so was the spinach :) Pity we started eating at 11.20pm though...on the way to the car we passed by a VCD stall, and they had Clockwork Orange! I bought it since How Khang has been looking for it for some time. By the time I got home it was 12.30am.

Expectations for tomorrow:Renew Applecat Studios in the morning, then go kolej- hopefully go Halina's place at some point.

Monday, December 24, 2001 (10:11 p.m.)

Woke up at 7am today...then fell asleep again hehe, guess I shouldn't have stayed up watching Seinfeld eps :) I reached kolej at 9.30am, and there were practically no cars on the road or at the sidegate! Cool...Choon, Yu Hock, Darren and Tracy were in the RL doing accounts work & other stuff, my d/l results today were quite good- 5 new eps of Friends, plus lots of Spiderman eps! =) I hung out with them until 10am, then went to Mr.Lim's room and chatted with him and Mylini until 10.30am, which was when I packed up my stuff from the RL and went to Pyramid.

The movie queue was quite long at 11am, Halina was stuck in a jam so I joined the queue- good thing I did too 'cos 10 mins later the length doubled! Wacky...she got there just as I was about to buy the tickets fortunately, we went in at 11.30am, the cinema was more than half-empty..I think its because ppl who wanted to watch Lord of the Rings were still stuck in the queue! Hahaha...the movie was really long but quite cool to watch anyway- though I knew what was going to happen since I read the book last time. I wonder how on earth they got John-Rhys Davies to shrink into the dwarf! Amazing...it ended close to 3pm, and the queue had gotten even longer when we came out- and its not even Wednesday! There wasn't enough time to eat lunch @ Perks, since we had to get some stuff from the supermarket then Halina had to rush to see Fahmi's mom. I dropped by the RL for a few mins on my way home, tapaued a late lunch from Mamitas. I finished off my Seinfeld collection then slept until 8.30pm, watched Sliders, went online for a bit, called Halina then watched some Star Trek eps while Choon Ling called off and on for help with his modem- he's having wacky problems with it.

Expectations for tomorrow: Go Central Market in the morning then laze about at home.
